Blood borne viruses can be detected using a simple blood test.
You can have a blood test at a GP surgery, a hospital clinic, a sexual health clinic or most often in Tayside at addiction or harm reduction services. If you have a drug/and or alcohol worker they can also provide a test.
Postal testing kits are also available for HIV.
