Our groups meet online throughout the year to take forward specific areas of work with members from health and social care, local authorities, academia, statutory services and the voluntary sector. We want to ensure the views of people living with HIV, their carers and the wider public are heard and inform our work.
Current Opportunities
Fast Track Cities Dundee and Perth Steering Group – FTC Dundee and Perth is the workstream with responsibility for local delivery of the Scottish Government’s HIV Transmission Elimination Delivery Plan and elements of the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Action Plan for Scotland 2023-2026 that relate to HIV. This group sets the strategic direction for HIV work in Tayside and monitors progress of the plans.
HIV Stigma & Education Group – Operating under the FTC Dundee & Perth Steering Group, this group will develop and implement an action plan to eliminate HIV related stigma at personal, societal, and institutional levels in Tayside.
World AIDS Day Planning Group – Meeting to plan the local response to World AIDS Day on 1st December.
